To market, to market

Most of you who know me well, know that I hate shopping for clothes. Take me to a good home goods store, though and I can blissfully spend hours. Here's the skinny on a few new lines:

West Elm recently introduced West Elm Market. The new store concept: a classic general store offering customers a total home toolkit in four key categories: kitchen, garden, care & repair and personal care. The first retail store front opened in New York (of course) a few weeks ago. The rest of us can shop online. I haven't had a chance to peruse the wares yet, but anything that promises to make tedious household chores more enjoyable deserves a looksy.

West Elm Market

Did you know that West Elm is part of the William-Sonoma, Inc. family of brands? I didn't. Speaking of William-Sonoma, it just launched its newest retail brand Mark and Graham:
Mark and Graham is designed to be a premier destination for gift buying. The brand's specialty shops include home decor, men's and women's accessories, small leather goods, jewelry, entertaining and bar, do-it-yourself wrapping supplies, and seasonal items. Every purchase comes with complimentary personalization, and arrives in a signature linen box finished with extra-wide grosgrain ribbon and a customizable gift card. All orders over $49.00 will also enjoy complimentary shipping with promotional code FREESHIP and are assured to arrive within five days. -- via marketwatch.com
What's not to like, right? I know the free personalization (aka monogram) is sure to put a smile on any southern girl's face. One loyal reader with the monogram "SHM" will be over the moon.

Enjoy the rest of the weekend!
